Hi everyone! At OMMI we strive to be as transparent as possible with our donors, so we wanted to share a little about just where exactly your money goes and how much of it is actually used for the mission’s cause.
Outlook Mountain Mission, Inc. is committed to sending the largest possible portion of donated funds down to support the mission of our Guatemalan churches. OMMI strives to reduce all expenses to an absolute minimum. As such, we have no employees, no property and our Board members are not compensated for their time.
Here’s a breakdown of how your donations were allocated in 2021.
➡️ 90.4% of total revenue was sent to Guatemala to satisfy three separate grants that were accepted by our Board.
These funds were sent to Iglesia Bautista Columna y Baluarte de la Verdad, a church located in a town on the southwestern portion of the country called Conrado de la Cruz, Suchitepeques, Guatemala.
With the money from these grants the church was able to:
-Purchase a piece of property for a proposed medical clinic
-Purchase a roadway easement for access to the clinic property
-Begin construction on the actual clinic
➡️ 2.7 % of total revenue was spent on accrued expenses for the year.
These expenses included:
-State filing fees
-Federal filing fees
-Bank fees
-Wire transfer fees
➡️ 6.9% of total revenue for 2021 was retained by OMMI and rolled over into 2022. These remaining funds have since been sent to Guatemala to satisfy a fourth grant proposal accepted by our Board for the continuation of the construction on the clinic.
